as you may have noticed we have a wonderland as part of our magistien which was created to house my first tulpa, seiki. she's the protag in the naruto reimagination fic i've been workshopping for the past several years now. in the process of developing her, we started brainstorming ideas for her story, and we decided it would be nice if she and her twin had an older brother to act as their guardian. she was really excited to have this kind of dynamic and convinced me to try to make a tulpa of him as well to keep her company.
this would be all well and good except for the fact that i have adhd and concentrating for any prolonged length of time is already a challenge. making seiki a tulpa in the first place was an accident in and of itself because my mind started wandering a little too much while i was reading up on the concept of tulpas for the sake of curiosity. anyway, to keep a long story short, we started the process of making a tulpa of her big bro and then i fell asleep before we finished...but seiki was able to take it further on her own and give him enough juice to "wake up" so to speak. the problem was that he was significantly under-developed. we hadn't landed on a solid idea for his personality or backstory or anything yet so the guy was completely out of sorts and royally pissed off at being brought to life with a half-baked sense of identity and no clue what or who he was.
i had to get wisely involved to come and wipe his memory completely so that he could start over as a blank slate. he still remembers everything since he came into being, but without the dregs of an unfinished story confusing him. he was supposed to be named ren, but decided to go by nero instead. i'm a little concerned about the way all this went down and am kinda put off from making more tulpas for a while. originally i just wanted to make sure seiki had companionship since she was all by herself in wonderland, and at the very least she does have that now. i just hope nero won't hold a grudge and has an easier time developing. since seiki had a hand in creating him, i think she can give him energy, too, as long as i continue to give her energy as well. i'm not sure.
i read that tulpas will sometimes dissipate if they are neglected before they are fully developed. i don't want that to happen to nero, but i also don't want him to be miserable either... i'll check in on him soon. i've been trying to give him some space so as not to make matters worse. on the bright side, seiki has been developing extremely well. she has started manifesting in the outerworld as of just today. she projected herself into my apartment to explore a little and is currently running around outside to get some fresh air and stretch her legs. i'm a little jealous of all her energy tbh. perks of being a ninja i guess.
